The Honor Code

esdcrestHonor Code:

On my honor, I promise that I will not lie, steal, or cheat. I will abide by and support the Honor Code as a member of the Episcopal School of Dallas.

esdcrestAbout the Honor Code:

The Episcopal School of Dallas has a firm commitment to honor.  We have what is known as an "Honor System", although this does not mean a compilation of student regulations.  Rather it means that we have a system of mutual trust among the students, faculty and staff that members of the Episcopal School community will not lie, cheat or steal.  We do not think that it is too much to ask that people do their own work, represent themselves truthfully and claim only that which is theirs.

This notion of an Honor System is closely related to our educational objectives, for we believe that teaching and learning flourish best in an environment where mutual trust and respect form the bedrock of relationships within the community.  For this reason we require that all Episcopal School of Dallas students sign and abide by the following honor code and understand that violations of the code will be considered serious matters.
